Loic Le Meur has a fascinating post suggesting 17.5 million people in France know what a blog is!
A Mediametrie-Nielsen survey finds that 73% of French internet users know what a blog is, rising to 9 out of 10 among 15-24-year-olds.
Apparently blogs are read by 28% of French internet users ( 6.7million people) with 2,271,000 having their own blogs (and 8 out of 10 bloggers are under 24 years old).
Extremely interesting stuff, especially considering how the non-English speaking Europeans usually lag slightly behind the British movements (who in turn lag behind the Americans). Do you know of any corresponding figures for British bloggers?
