Launched as a magazine for PR students at the College of St Mark and St John, Behind the Spin has become an essential read for students, academics and practitioners. Lively, well-written and with high production values it gives those setting out on a career a unique platform to see their work in print. As Richard Bailey points out, there's nothing quite like seeing your first byline - and nothing quite like bylines to impress employers. By issue Ten, just out, the contributor list is reading like a Who's Who of PR thinkers. So it's no surprise, Behind The Spin has launched an online edition - still in its infancy but well worth supporting.
Hello Philip
I've just been to the site.
This is excellent. As well as the bylines the students will get articles with permanent links too, all very useful for a portfolio of evidence.
On a separate but connected issue
I am considering the use blogs within assessment next semester do you have any experience of using this idea of open comment with feedback for seminar groups?
