The Symposium programme committee has almost completed the selection of papers for Brussels. We were delighted not only by the number of abstracts submitted but also their range and depth. Selection has been quite a challenge and we have had some very difficult choices to make. Thanks to everyone who put forward suggestions - we will be letting people know our decisions over the next few days.
Fittingly for the European Public Relations and Education and Research Association, there was a healthy mix of papers offering insights into the way universities should teach social media as part of their PR and communications programmes, as well as useful case study insights into how a range of organisations are using the new technologies, balanced by papers seeking to offer theoretical insights into what some characterise as 'the New PR'.
