On behalf of the judging panel we are delighted to announce the winners of the EuroBlog Social Media Awards 2011.
As last year, the judges had a difficult job. Some of the decisions were particularly tough and we needed a lot of debate to settle on our winners.
But we did!
Most effective social media presence established by a communications/public relations student studying on undergraduate or post-graduate programme at a European university
We were impressed by their entry last year, and the panel felt that this prize should go to a collaborative effort..... From Germany.... Public Relations Studierende Hannover
Most innovative use of social media techniques in a communications research project or investigation
One researcher in particular made a great use of a variety of social media platforms and displayed a great enthusiasm for her work.... Ana Adi
Most valuable contribution to the academic understanding of the impact
of social media on PR practice.
The judges were impressed by the contribution made by several practitioners to the debate surrounding social media, and again the final decision was very, very close.
But we did..... From the Netherlands, the first Dutch PR School COOPR.NL.
Well done to all our winners - and to all the other entrants who made judging the EuroBlog Social Media Awards 2011 such a rewarding challenge!
