Bye Sunderland, Hej Helsingborg

It's time to move on! After eight years at the University of Sunderland I am on my way to Campus Helsingborg, part of Lund University, in Sweden.

From July I will be project leader of NEMO - New Media, Modern Democracy - "a three-year research project which aims to develop new knowledge and explore new ways of understanding the significance of social media and online communication for individuals and organizations in a thriving democratic society."

I am very proud of what we have achieved at Sunderland. As well as building valuable BA and MA programmes, we have seen some great students go on to very exciting careers, and I hope the team goes on from strength to strength.
