    Scoop!

    • Scoop!
Journalists appear in fiction in many guises and play many roles. Sometimes they provide central characters, often they intrude on the action, their attentions as unwelcome as they often are in real life. Scoop! gathers together these appearances under a variety of themes, some amusing, some trivial, some giving an insight into how the Press works and how it is seen to impact on our society.

I've recommended that a number of colleagues come along. Good luck, hope it's as successful as the last one

I wish I could come again, if only to hear Neville's presentation which I missed last time because of having to catch a flight. I just don't think my boss will approve. Isn't there something different, just one little thing? Perhaps that might make the difference ;-). Best of luck!

I think there will be quite a few differences! Three months is a long time in the blogosphere...

Serge, I'll be delivering a different presentation. It will cover the same topics/themes but will have different content.

Okay, I get the picture. I have underestimated you all. I do doubt, however, this will be enough to convince our department director. He is kind of uhm... budget-minded lately :-D. Good luck to all delegates. And btw: I should normally be present in Stuttgart in March. Hope to see some of you there!
