Jody Dunn, left, the Lib-Dem's candidate for Peter Mandelson's Hartlepool seat has made the nationals by launching a campaign diary blog (Tales from the Hartlepool by-election campaign trail). Although slowed down by lines like ' Today's been relatively quiet' and 'Nothing much else to report actually', it presents some useful insights into the street level campaigning and, interestingly, into the challenges of interactive blogging; by launching the diary Jody has offered a platform for splendid nonsense like this from Rachel Wright:
"You sound like a mess and if I lived in Hartlepool I would not vote for you. Who wants to trust their government to someone who continually is undernourished? Examine your life. Eating is important. Eating is important. Marie Claire is a waste of time. If you don't eat properly you can't think properly. You don't sound like your managing lots of things. You sound like you're managing none.
"This is a pr disaster for you."
Really? We will follow the online adventures of the candidate Guardian political correspondent describes as a 'photogenic barrister and mother of four' with interest.

Jodi Dunn professes to come from hartlepool. Actually she lives in Gainford darlington and works in Middlesbrough. So why has she hidden this and maintained she's live and works locally in hartlepool?
The blog also avoids any comment on policy, which is interesting when you compare Jodi Dunn's hospital campaign and the new Lib Dem policy ideas to privatise the NHS.

Having tried to deliberately wreck the Jody Dunn blog by posting large numbers of repeated abusive comments, I see you've moved on "Quaker Watch"!
Shame you still seem to have a bit of a problem with your facts though - e.g. she DOES work in the courts in Hartlepool and she DOES have a home in Hartlepool.
Sure, her job also involves working elsewhere at times - but why not have an honest debate about that rather than trying to pretend she doesn't work in Hartlepool at all?
